Several new hiking routes have been opened in Halen and Pieboda Nature Reserve and in May 2020
Frickabron, which connects the two nature reserves, will be inaugurated.
Frickabron is a great experience and the trail systems around it are unique.

LAKES, CANOEING & SWIMMING
1.5 kilometres NE of Boafall is Halens Nature Reserve.
Here there are very nice bathing facilities at Halen Camping, which has boat hire, a beach with a sandy beach and diving platforms, etc. For sea bathing, we recommend the beach at Pukavik - about 10 km SE of Boafall.
In Olofström you can hire canoes and sail out onto the Baltic Sea and from there on to the other lakes in the area. For canoe hire etc. in Olofström - see halenkanot.com/en/
FISHING
The numerous lakes offer plenty of opportunities for fishing. See for example. www.harasjomala.com

LAKE IMMELN
A very beautiful excursion is from the town of Immeln, where you can take a boat trip with lunch around Immeln.
Immeln Canoe Centre also organises plenty of activities for both children and adults.
